Physician Group Files Citizen Petition with FDA Requesting Breast Cancer Mortality Warning Be Added to Dairy Cheese

Last month the 12,000 member of the Physician Committee for Responsible Medicine filed with the FDA a Citizens Petition requesting the FDA to require all dairy cheese to include the following warning, "Dairy cheese contains reproductive hormones that may increase breast cancer mortality risk." The Citizens Petition was sound in research where a likely connection between high-fat dairy products and the increased risk for breast cancer was indicated.
