It was February of 2011 as I laid in a hospital gurney unable to feel anything below my chest, having nearly died the night before, when the most overwhelming emotions of fear, anxiety and hopelessness came over me. Would I ever walk again? Would I ever run with my children? How was I going to earn money and provide for my family? And so much more... I had taken a prescribed drug, that had had a horrific side affect, nearly killing me, and leaving me without any feeling below my chest.I understand all too well the drak and deep despair that comes over people through no fault of their own.
