California's New Child Abuse Victim Act

As of January 1st, 2020, California Assembly Bill 218, also known as the Child Abuse Victim Act, provides children who were victims of sexual abuse - and who have otherwise failed to file a lawsuit within the applicable statute of limitations - now three years to file a claim against the perpetrator(s) and/or entity responsible.
